Well after a complaint from a neighbour about my mast and beam I had to submit planning permission. I submitted it in Nov 12 and got refused in January 13 After speaking with the planning dept they said no problem with the mast just that the beam was unsightly and not in character with the houses and area BULL any hoo with talking I mentioned what if I fitted a mini beam and was told re submit the plans showing a mini beam. I opted for the TGM MQ36SR under half the size of my original Cushcraft A3S and last week got it approved so now have planning for my mast and said mini beam. Ive bought a new one and built it and erecting it today and has loading coils on each element end so 6 banks or coils each running 5 bands which have to be tuned for swr individually for each band 10 12 15 17 20 NAD ache but once up and done pics will follow
