Now Im no expert on this and maybe someone can tell us a bit more and put me right but when we get these huge explosions and a solar storm this normally means lots of band noise and the skip can drop of dramatically . Im sure this is what to expect but come on guys gave us your views. Ive not switched on my radio today but will take a listen and see if the theory is right or not as the case maybe lol.

Well there yo go Ive still not switched on yet lol. Ive just put up the half size G5RV just need a bit coax now but will see if the wife notices it first hehehehe.
