Nice kit, is that a good old cobra 148 gtl dx, I still get more excited seeing a good one of them than any HF set lol. Nostalgia is a great thing

kevin its DIAMOND CP6 a multi-band trap-vertical covering the 80, 40, 20, 15, 10 & 6m works great only way i,ll replace it is when i get my beam

Im looking at a 6m beam the comet 4 element but think its a tad flimbsy so looking for a more meatier one for 6m

i needed more height Daryn soon as i knew it was mine in the car and off to Birmingham to pick it up.All i need to do now is sell my pump up mast and cp6 antenna then i have money again lol

Nope dug out 1 m cubed of soil and clay today ready for mine coming the socket is being delivered tomorrow 6 bags of cement and a ton of gravel sand mix to batch up my own 2.5 ton of concrete to set the socket in Ive ordered the Standard plus mast 40 foot with rotator cage and stub mast will take it to about 50 foot but not getting delivered till 4 weeks time they are very snowed under with orders so is the galvinisers

nice 1 John im gonna get a cage at some point but moneys tight at the moment, if you need a hand give me a shout dont mind a bit of concreting.50 foot just a nice height the world is yours lol

Why dont you just buy extention ladders and strap them to the wall, antenna on top and just push it up when you need to lol. Sounds daft but it would work lol

my garden is small Kevin would love a bigger garden and no neighbours then i,d have a antenna farm lol
