| Hi Darryn and everybody else,
Name is John and qth is Seaton Delaval nr Whitley Bay. I think I spoke to you Darryn a few weeks back on NT.
Just though I'd pop in and say hello and wish you the best of luck with the club and the website. It's great to see so much Amateur activity in the North East.
I did my M6 and 2E0 at Angel of the North club in Gateshead and I'm going to have a stab at my M0 now. I also go to Tynemouth Club where I'm brushing up on my morse.

| Will definitely spread the word. I see one of my mates is already on here - Ged 2E0GRD. Now about that referral fee......... Yeah, I think it was me. I was on NT one night talking to Jimmy M6BGC from Gateshead and you had to go off because you'd just picked up a fare. | |

| Yer reet there it dont take much hehehehe.
I did download the app and had a bit play around with it, very impressive, I was asking about the legality of using it abroad to gain access to the repeater's without having a full licence and apparently it ok to do this, but only one person has said this to me, obviously a little bit more checking s required | |

| Cheers everybody! That's an interesting question Daryn. I can't see it being a problem using echolink abroad via a smartphone as you wouldn't be transmitting RF in that country. Maybe someone else can point us in the right direction? | |
