Just found this and still reading up on what it actually is but one thing I do know is that you can tune into stations on line and listen in, have a go for yourself.

Here is a few different ones http://www.websdr.org/ I think these are some sort of on line receiver, let me know if you know anything about these guys

not sure what it is as i only had a quick look but like the way it comes up where you are when you click on it will have a beter look later on nice find
